I am curious, is there a shot limit on the PGA tour? Or do you play until you hole out?

Why would there be a limit? Kevin Na had a 16 a couple years ago.

I don't think you could have a limit because it would not then be an actual score meaning the hole was never finished. But lets face it, if one were to pile up enough strokes on one hole they may as well just throw in the towel and walk away. That would be the practical thing to do imo.
