Thinking about ordering some new KBS wedge shafts, and considering going with the custom program using the matte or pear white shafts. Anyone have any real world use with these and how they look after a season or so?

I've been using the white ones in my wedges over a year and they still look like brand new

I have matte CTL and after a handful of rounds look new still

I have the masters shaft that i will install over the winter

In the past, they would chip with time. All things I’ve heard is that has improved a lot though.

That definitely looks good. I'm still using my original ctapers and black nickel wedge shafts, of course the black nickel ones do not look great anymore. Really tempted to go for the white custom wedges, and almost tempted to switch over to the tours in the irons to get the whites too....or maybe the black ctapers, although that is an expensive change solely for color haha.
