ANNOUNCEMENT Looking For Testers: Callaway Apex Pro and Apex CB Irons

Wow, just wow.

Me, I would go:

1. Apex CB.
2. Currently playing Mizuno Pro 225s
3. My set up is 5-G with a 4 fli-hi.

As much as I love the Mizunos - and I really do (as discussed just yesterday with @outlawx I always wonder whether I can get more distance from the same swing. Or occasionally more forgiveness and I often wonder how other sets feel - I played the OG Apex 16 (I think those were the OG?) and still remember one of my first course swings wiht them, 6 iron from around 160+ (I was younger), The ball just stuck to the green - I had seldom had a shot like that before.
 
Currently playing the Callaway Mavrik Pro irons in 4-AW with Dynamic Gold Tour Issue x-100 shafts. I’d love to get my hands on the Apex Pro model to see how they compare for sound, feel, distance, dispersion patterns, etc. The Mavrik Pro irons were definitely irons that flew under the radar and I’d love to see how these compare.

The Equipment Options
Last Month, Callaway released their new Apex Pro Series line of irons. If you missed our full preview of the new release, you can find it here. That feature article has information on the tech and breakdown of each of the sets we are discussing today.

Criteria
We will select a group of FIVE THPers to join staff writer James to test the new options.
You must be able to check in on the forum thread daily (or close to it) to discuss and answer questions.
You will be reviewing the Callaway Apex Pro or Apex CB for 120 days and then they are yours to keep.

How to Signup
Comment below and answer these 3 questions.
1. Which one of the two options would you like to test?
2. What irons do you currently play?
3. What is your iron set makeup (3-PW, 4-GW, etc)

1. The Apex Pros would be a great upgrade and addition to the bag.
2. My current iron set is the Taylormade Rocketbladez.
3. The set is a 4-PW, but the 4 and 5 are hybrid. I would love to change those out for regular irons!
 
Currently playing Cobra Forged Tec 4-PW with KBS $ Taper r+. I would love to try the cb's.
