Garlic mashed potatoes are delicious.

Not a huge fan. Being English, give me my potatoes roasted.

I've had these, decadent!

I made them at least once a day for 3 years...

We used really, really great butter too. I consumed more butter just tasting these potatoes for seasoning than any man should eat in a lifetime.

I love butter but so rarely have it. Pretty much will just dip bread in olive oil and balsamic - butter is a killer!

WOW 100% love em

Heck yeah...mashed taters are almost always good...also like mashed sweet potatoes and mashed regular mixed with mashed sweet is a good combo too.

100% answered "yup" so far...not too surprising.

I like mashed potatoes. More lumps the better for me too.

Should be it's own food group.

They have to have gravy.

Nothing beats a baked potato! NOTHING!

Just really don't care for the texture or the flavor!

Love 'em. Simple is best imho, milk and butter. Garlic is fine BUT the additional flavor for me must be subtle rather than obvious.

My wife is Irish, potatoes are an integral part of life, as is beer, Sunday Mass and giving her opinion! Here is last week's potatoes just for the wife and I. That is an 8 quart bowel!

Yup, you can't beat the good old bangers 'n mash covered with gravy with fresh garden peas

I prefer a baked potato to go with my steak.

But with meat loaf, fried chicken or shepherd's pie you gotta go the mashed route. If there are chunks in them, even better. Sometimes having the potato skin mixed in is good too.
