Here’s a quick look at a couple of potential bags for 2020. The top end and bottom of the bag with be the same no matter which irons stick for the entire year.

Driver - Ping G410 LST 9* with a Diamana ZF-60s tipped 1/2”
3 wood - Cobra big tour 3. 1/2” short with Smoke yellow 6.0 (this one may be replaced by the Speedzone tour)
Hybrid - longest surviving member of the bad. 19* Titleist 816
Wedges - 50* and 54* Cleveland RTX 4 with DG tour issue s400. 60* (bent to 59*) Taylormade my hi-toe with DG tour issue s400
Putter - MySpider 34.5.
Depending on the course I will sometimes throw in the Titleist u500 3 iron with smoke black 6.0 shaft and either drop a wedge or the hybrid.

Okay now the potential irons:

Option 1. Taylormade P760 4-pw with Modus tour 120 stiff shafts. Played the p760’s all last season with tour amt white s300’s and regretted selling. So picked up a gently used set and I have always wanted to try the modus shafts. This set will most likely start the season and may just stay.

Option 2. Callaway Apex 19 combo 4-aw with the elevate tour stiff black shafts. Really like the look and have tried them in the simulator but just more comfortable with the p760’s so may end up moving these.

Bag update, the Callaway’s are off to a new home

In a couple of weeks I will be able to snap some pics and show all the updates. Not much left from what has been posted here. 2 new sets of irons, new driver, wedges were updated last summer, 3 wood was changed last summer as well, putter changed recently (same one different look). I think that’s it for now. Once I have everything in hand I will post

A lot of changes throughout this year.

Here’s what is currently in my bag.

Driver - Callaway epic speed 9* with an Evenflow riptide 60g 6.0. I also have an Evenflow riptide LX in coming. Hopefully will have it next week.

Fairway - Mizuno st-x 15* with the motore x f3

Hybrid - Titleist tsi3 20* with the ability raw white 90s

Irons - Titleist t-100 4-pw with DG amt tour white s300 shafts. (Really want the new t-100s). These are the ones I am currently playing. I also have a set of 5-pw Callaway x-forged cb’s with the mmt 95 shafts. I traded my x-forged set with px I/o 6.0’s recently and just today got these re-griped and bent flat today, ready for some testing. Will experiment with graphite over the winter but plan to stick with the t-100’s for now…I think. I may take the Cally’s out Wednesday night for a round

Wedges - Cleveland rtx ZipCore raw 50*, 54*, and 58*

Putter - Cobra supernova 34.5”. It took me a bit to get used too but now really liking it. I am typically and slat neck kind of guy.

Ball - Chrome soft LS. Been playing this one all year and really like it

Starting bag for 2022. As some may know I was lucky enough to participate in the 2021 Titleist experience back in October. Unfortunately, I haven’t got to spend much time beyond my rounds in NM with the irons but now that hockey is starting to wind down I will get some more sim time before the snow finally melts.

Driver - Titleist tsi4 with either the Hzrdus smoke yellow or Accra tz6 55cb. I also have a Cobra LTDx that will try steal the top spot
Fairway - new to me tsi2 16.5 with the GD tour as-di 7S
Hybrid - 20* tsi3 with a Tensei Av raw 90S
Irons - combo t200/t100S 4-GW with PX LZ 6.0
Wedges - RTX ZipCore 54*/58*
Putter -Cobra Supernova 34.5” and soon to arrive Toulon Las Vegas

Toulon will be a nice addition! I have a Daytona in transit tight now. I also still like the Supernova. The more I roll the one I picked up, the more I worry my fabulous in-coming putters will have a tough battle on their hands!

Toulon will be a nice addition! I have a Daytona in transit tight now. I also still like the Supernova. The more I roll the one I picked up, the more I worry my fabulous in-coming putters will have a tough battle on their hands!

Something about that Super Nova just works for me and the Toulon will have its work cut out for it. Really looking forward to trying a non-insert putter. I can’t remember the last one I gamed that didn’t have one. The Tsi4 gets a bad rep but it’s truly not that hard to hit or as low spinning as most seem to think.

Driver update, I have 3 potential’s now. Not sure how that happened but it happened fast. Love my tsi4 but picked up a cobra LTDx with tensei av raw and a Callaway max LS with the newer version of the av raw. Also have the riptide LX with a Callawy tip which will most likely get the first crack. Winner of the 2 new ones stays in rotation with the Tsi4 and the loser ends up in my wife’s bag. Also have my Toulon which will be starting.

Another bag battle added for no reason other than spring is taking too long to get here! The Titleist will have some competition with the mizuno pro 223’s entering the picture. These have modus 115’s and absolutely loved hitting them in the sim. We will see, modus 115 vs px lz 6.0’s
