Some would disagree, but I know what you mean.

I should have clarified, I meant down to a 4 iron ... I would say a 3 iron of any variety is pretty difficult to hit off the deck & even I use a 3h instead.

I just bought the 850's after a fitting. They were long and straight. 6 iron outhit everything else I tried by 15 yds (185 flight/20 roll) with an easy, smooth swing.
