finally heading out for a bit more golf now that I am no longer infected. Green Meadows tomorrow.

Need to get in much more golf before heading out to Ireland in late June

So who's around during the week to play?
I usually have Tues/Wed off. I work 11px7a but I am willing to get up to play a afternoon round with a THPer.
 
I'm planning on playing tomorrow at 4 but it looks like you're working.

My league is on Tuesdays and I have meetings most Wednesdays until summer break which is a month away.

SadIy I am on training this week but will be around next week.
 
@PatsFan would love to get out during the week and we will but as of now I have to conserve vacation time

On a side note I did take yesterday afternoon off as I had a freebie and played Green Meadows jungle course. Did not have a birdie at all so my birdie streak is broken. I had 8 pars yesterday and hit the ball well but also had 4 8's even one on a par three. The greens were under a lot of maintenance and a lot of sand. Sand every where on the greens. Some greens were blazingly fast and others you could see your ball trail through the sand.

The bunkers were also in very rough shape. So as usually some good and some bad

Took out a set of hickories to Newport, pretty much the best experience I’ve had in a while. Course was completely empty

To think where these clubs have been… the hands that held them and the courses they’ve played. 1915ish… Stewarts, unreal. Any course under 6400 yards o shoot my identical handicap with 2021 Miuras and 1915 Stewarts. Go figure.

Had a good time...great weather and a good foursome of friends on a very nice course (Blue Hills CC).

Haven't been playing well since end of last year so my handicap had gone up enough that I ended up with 2nd place in the net division! :p

Course is nice as you can see pretty wide fairways. Flack sticks are solid wood, made a good thunk noise when I managed to nail one with a wedge. Good practice range + green as well. Bud lights $7 from the beverage cart! :eek:

Played Tedesco Country Club in Marblehead for a charity tournament Monday. Conditions were pristine, but what a quirky course. We crossed the road four times, no signs directing you where to go (private so members would know where to go) and back to back par threes (although one was playing 225 from the blues).

Yeah, for the past few years I've only played private courses and they don't have signage and tee markers.

^^^Terrific golf course. Haven't played it, but I have walked it a number of times watching an LPGA friend play in some junior tournaments there.
