Okay, it's time for a true THP style "get together" in the North East. Here is my rough sketch plan for this. Just ideas at this point and open to suggestions.
Dates: Sept. 17 & 18
Location: Worcester, MA area
Courses: Cyprian Keyes http://www.cypriankeyes.com/Club/Scripts/Home/home.asp
I am happy to run point and arrange tee times, block some rooms at a Worcester hotel, book dinner reservations for Saturday night and negotiate discounts if/where possible.
Why Worcester? It's under 3 hours from NH, southern ME, MA, RI, VT, and CT; and only 4 hours from Scranton, PA and Trenton, NJ meaning easy convenient access for anyone in the 10 state region and even beyond (hell, it's only 6 hours from Montreal and 7 from Ottawa so some of our Canadian brethren are also within reach).
Why these courses? These are two of the best courses in the region and two of my favorites. They are both a fair test for all skill levels with 5 tees, great layouts and exceptional conditions. They are also both very female friendly.
Right now I just need to gauge interest. Little Bertha and I are the first two. So who else is interested?
