I don’t see it catching on and I won’t use it. As I see it, twilight golf would be the best application of this.

And just using GPS to determine holes played could be problematic because you have to drive back to the clubhouse.

I’m not a fan of it and wouldn’t use it. If I have time to golf but can’t get 9 in I’m going to the range instead.
