10 months old today
The lake completely froze over two days ago right on schedule for early December. We will likely do a little skating along the shoreline this afternoon. I tested it with my heavy ice auger and it’s damn strong already but not so strong that I’m willing to go anywhere more than knee deep. 
My daughter, quite pleased with herself, shortly after throwing up all over mom.

Skied today for the first time this season at Afton Alps where I skied 80+ days a year growing up. They didn't have many runs open but it brought back many great memories and it was good to get on the snow again. I love the windburn and sore legs that only skiing can give me. Tomorrow I'm skiing with my daughter and Thursday will be for sure the end of my MN golf season when I tee off at noon. For you skiers, the picture makes my skis look strangely short but I assure you they are 178 cm, lol.
We still have a large patch of dense forest near my house. It's slowly being turned into houses, but 2/3 of what used to be there is still untouched. When I was a kid it was easy to get lost in here, and today it's just as easy.
Lots of very old growth bigboy cedars.
Although lots eventually succumb to natural soil erosion and wind.

Yesterday playing golf in 65* weather. Snow tonight.
Watching a little QBE while working on a range session. Feels good to get some swings in even if they don’t look like the ones on tv, there is a reason that insulation board is up on the right lol
Both of my travel bags are in Florida but I wanted to bring another set of clubs to Florida with us tomorrow on the plane so I improvised. The driver and 3 wood shafts fit in the gun case and the heads I'll throw in my carry bag. I'm in need of a new golf bag so I'll just buy one when I get down there. I can be assured that these clubs will get inspected going through luggage, lol.

Put the baby in a tub of hot chocolate for some Christmas photos. She tried to eat all the marshmallows. Totally mom's idea, I was just there for moral support.
