Went to a PGATSS yesterday in Columbus. As expected, I was told the following:

"while you may have been fit into a face balanced putter a few years back. You DEFINETELY no longer have a face balanced stroke. You need to look into some toe hang putters."

At least my thoughts and personal observations were correct. Plumber neck blades......here i come......
ugh im sorry to hear that lol

I wish it was a bittersweet thing. Face balanced hasnt helped me one bit. Putting hasnt improved whatsoever since then

Ya, something is in order to switch. I just cannot look down at a plumbers neck blade

yea well my 5-6 face balanced mallets arent thrilled. Assuming all but 2 get traded in towards a blade

Had a Ping custom make a putter to my specs from the Club Champion fitting.
Couple times out on the practice green and I can already tell the difference.
Misses are so more in the 'Gimmie" range than before
It just seems to work.

I'm sure there's a thread here somewhere for that. Let's see the custom putter!

I putt better with a non-pristine putter. not beaten up by any means, but a couple scratches and marks on it.
