Recently played and i struggled with my putter speed, admittedly i do not practice my putting alot.

I read the line great, but, my speed was way off, which to led to the threaded 3 putt.

What do i practice and what should i look for or what drills should i do to help me with speed??

Thanks

There are a couple of ways to work on speed. On the practice green try this. place 4 balls in the center of the green. From here putt 1 ball to each end of the green. The goal here is to get the ball as close to the fringe as you can with out going over the fringe. This will get you to focus on speed and less on lines. This is the key on putts longer than 10 feet. This should help a bunch. Another way to get the feel on greens is to hit putts while looking at the hole. I know this sounds weird, but this gets the eyes and hands working together. Try both and see what works best for you.
