Recommend course(s) in vicinity of Dolphin Island AL

The family takes an annual beach trip and this year they're all going to Dolphin Island AL (not me, gotta take care of my dog).

Anyway, my bro-in-law who always plays with me wants to hit some of the Robert Trent Jones TrIl courses and I wondered if, other than those, are there any other courses you'd recommend he check out?

He's a 90s player, don't know if he has an official handicap, likes a challenge and loves a course that has good grass.

Dauphin Island has a lot of nearby courses, but your best bet would be to travel over to the Mobile, AL area. I can give you some ideas, depending on how far you want to travel?

He'll go an hour or so from dauphin (sorry about earlier spelling) during the weeks everyone is there, then he and my sis will journey around for another week.
