Sad he won'tget to see his Orioles in playoffs.

Truly a great player. RIP.

The guy was a magician at third base. Those were some amazing Orioles teams he played on.

RIP!!! 3rd base legend!

RIP Brooks

One of the of all-time.

A class act. I remember the rosters for those 1960s Al-Star games. So much talent, and he made it every year.

16 gold gloves with a mitt the size of a ski mitten. One of the best hot corner players in baseball history. Had third base box seats for Mets 1969 last game win to take the World Series. nothing fair nor foul got by him. He was the personification of a Hoover vacuum.

Ken Singleton was telling a story about a party at Brooks Robinson's house. He eaid there were 16 steps down to his basement, and each step had a gold glove beside each step.

Always HATED the Orioles. But loved Brooks and a few others on the team.

RIP, what a baseball legend.

The great 3rd baseman of all time… RIP Brooks.

I was born in Baltimore and was an Orioles fan from the time the team moved to Baltimore from St Louis. Brooks Robinson, maybe even more so than even Cal Ripken, was always my favorite. He was a magician with the glove at 3rd base!
