From Saintnine:
THE BALL THAT WILL INSTANTLY
ADD 10+ YARDS TO YOUR GAME
(NON-USGA CONFORMING)

  • Cover - Ionomer
  • Construction - 3-piece
  • Core - Ultra-High energy 95 compression ND-BR core
  • Dimple - 336 dimples for flight stability and reduced air resistance
  • Performance - The Saintnine X is the longest non-conforming ball on the market that will rival the best with its spin rate. The smaller sized ball and heavier weight combine to immediately give the golfer more distance while holding spin when needed.
  • Player Profile - Designed for golfers of all skill sets who want to maximize distance. A high energy core will create extra distance anywhere on the course. The smaller size and heavier weight classify the ball as non-USGA and R&A compliant
  • Mental Mates

The Saintnine Xis definitely smaller than a “regular” golf ball see the comparison to a Saintnine U Pro and my gamer a Srixon Z Star XV

will rival the best with its spin rate.
So does this mean my banana slice will have enough spin to go backwards? I like the 3 piece construction, higher spin off wedges/short irons, but I'm worried about the driver. Interested in the review.

Sound:
The Saintnine X has a more audible clicking noise when tapped against a metal surface(my wedding ring, we’re high tech here 😂) whereas the other two balls sound similar and more muted.

I read up on these after seeing your post last week and wondered about the size. That's kind of wild. Thanks for sharing the photos and your thoughts. (y)

For $21 a doz and end of season scrambles, wanted to have some fun. Definitely weird seeing it next to “regular size” balls out of the box, thought size was fine. Firmness/feel was different

It says "softest" on the box. From your comments about the "high tech" softness test I'm wondering how it feels off the driver and irons. I'm pretty sure it'll feel a little harder on the putter. I'll definitely be following your comments. And like you said, for a scramble/captain's choice it sounds like it could be a fun ball to play around with.

I’ll try and roll some putts comparing different balls tomorrow. Full transparency I got this as a tee ball on Par 4s and Par 5s

Great, I can’t track nor find regular sized balls and now you want me looking for something smaller?

But it’ll go further so I’m in! Lol. For scrambles only of course.

With your past parallel move I expect you hitting these 400plus

Ao maybe a silly question, but smaller ball sounds like it may be more difficult to make pure contact with, no? With that ball being slightly smaller, getting ball first, or even flush contact, may elude some who struggle with striking to begin with?

Definitely will be interesting to see 🤷🏽‍♂️

With my sub 110 CHS that I’m rocking, I better have one helluva a tailwind (category 4ish?) and be hitting it down I-71 if it’s got a prayer.

I still owe a video of sound off the putter, but it is definitely LOUD (off of driver). If you’re sensitive to sound (@Jaymo37) you may not like it.

It is smaller than a regular ball not significantly but enough where it is noticeable.

The ball is longer, legitimately longer than a normal/conforming ball. At least 10 yards.

Flight: Ball flight is superb, it’s a great penetration flight that still has decent carry but it rolls for a good distance -
Course was soft today and had some shots plug but the driver shots today landed and ran whereas some other shots where plugging.

Durability, the balls is pretty durable probably right in the middle of the spectrum, not the most durable but holds it’s own against rocks/trees/cart path.

For the price point and with a discount, this ball is great for those scrambles or fun rounds that don’t count for handicaps

The come back of the old British ball.

I was wondering how those performed. Scramble ball with a 2.5* XXX Flex (no I’m not being pornoraphic) shaft at 48”?

I can likely still get that thing in the air and if that’s the case it’s going a LONG ways.

I am 100% a danger to anyone in any fairway within 2 holes of me with it though.

I do yell “FORE!!!!!!!!!!!” loudly. Usually gesticulating that they should cover their head or protect their nuts or something.

I honestly wasn't expecting much - but you're right, these are noticeably longer if you flush them. And yeah - they are loud off the driver face, and firm off of the irons.

With these I definitely am pondering a 47” driver - 48 is way too much - but an inch and half over stock I think would add another 10-15 yards so 25 total? #gamechanger

Also no idea i’d be able to
Keep that in play 😂

Breaking Bad: Watch the episode about half measures. Do it or don’t.

You won’t gain as much speed as you think either. Spring of 2018 (after a winter of overspeed training) I hit a max of 136 CHS with my Krank driver that I described above. I hit 133 CHS with an M1 430 playing at standard length.
