What are your expectations

Mine at 67 years old
drives 250 to 275 yard
8 iron ( Mizuno mp33 38 degrees) at 90 percent 150 yards after the rollout

None
281
Oof, which 8-iron/loft? Mine range by over 5*

Don't hit driver that often but 250-275

My 8 iron is 140 club

None for me.
185 carry, maybe 200 if I get lucky with roll out
120 yards is about what I expect my 8i to go. If I'm lucky

I’m at about 190-195 on soft fairways. 210-220 on firm(roll ball, roll!). 8 iron 125 off the ground, 130 off the tee. 65 years old.

65. Decent drives are typically between 220 and 250. 8 iron is my normal 140 club.
Garmin Golf App pegs my drives at 246 'Avg' and 305 'Max' 8 iron 144 'Avg' 175 'Max'. That's about 10 yards long on driver and 5 yards longer on 8 iron IMO. I think it's because 'Garmin math' culls out more of the short 'atypical shots' than it does long ones?

78 and my driver 180 occasionally I may get it to 200, but not as often as I would like. 8 iron 120 give or take a few yards.

70 yoa
220-250 Drives
125-135 8 Iron

30 years old. 275 with the driver and 180 with my 37* 8i.

Make it to that age? Step one.
I enjoy saying I'm "halfway to 90" now.

At 55, driver carry distance of 280 and 8-iron carry distance of 155

At 65 years old my driver carry average is 238 so every now and then I will get a nice 250-275 out there on a good hit. My 8i is 142. I am happy with my iron distances, but would like to get my driver around 245-250 carry if possible. I am not sure my body can handle it. More than any of that though, my goal is consistency and accuracy.

I noticed this in another thread. Need to get you going a little with that driver. If you're hitting a 37* 180 and a 33* 195, you should have more 300 drives than you can count on one hand. #beastiewiththeshortclubs

Driver is my nemesis club for sure. Got it for Christmas 8ish years ago off the internets. Not sure if it’s a bad fit or maybe I’m just an iron monster? :greenalien:

Nah, I'm sure your body, or swing, or technology and stuff hasn't changed much in 8 years. It's fine.

HEY EVERYBODY! OVER HERE!! Mr Psychic needs a new driver! Let's do that THP thing we do where we convince him to get one!

Or two...

At 67 if I can still swing a club, lets talk then...

Those are really impressive numbers, you should be very proud. #Jealous

I'm the opposite. My driver and fairway wood distances are respectable, but my iron distances barely keep up with the seniors around here.

I am 62.

My average driver carry is 240 - 245 according to the marker pole at my range and GPS. The added roll out varies on height and turf conditions.

I play my Zing 8 iron and Titleist 962 CB 8 iron about 145 with stock swing. They are old school lofts.
