I might be, let me check my schedule

I would definitely be interested, but I have no idea if I'll be able to actually play golf by August 11.

Regardless, I'll be watching this thread.

Count me in Ken!!!

What a great cause! Have fun guys!

This is a national event so if this location doesn't work for you, consider checking the website for a course in your state that's also participating!

I checked the schedule, appears I will be on the road for work that week.

Bumping...

More info: http://lymanorchards.com/events/worlds-largest-golf-outing. Apparently Lyman Orchards was the #1 course in participation and fundraising last year and both 18-hole courses were used.

I'll give this another few days and then register myself, Scarnici and anyone else who says they're in. This should be a lot of fun.

I wish I could do it but I am going to be on a wife ordered golf hiatus until at least September. Haha

Scarnici and I had a great time today. Our group of 4 shot 5 under (67) which is respectable. Over 300 golfers participated. The lowest score that I saw posted was a 57.

The morning started off with a lot of fog but it had largely burned off by the time we started play. Conditions were excellent.

Our group started on the par-5 12th hole. Scarnici came within a foot of a HIO on one of the par-3s.

Hopefully we can do this again next year and get a full THP foursome.

"No carts allowed on the driving range" because they can damage the turf. 5 ton AWD trucks are, apparently, just fine though!

Everyone who played got a "Red, White and Blue" pie - apple, cherries and blueberries. Scarnici took off before claiming his.

I'll definitely do this again next year!

Great job guys! Looked like a great event, sorry I had to miss Lyman handing it to me again. Keep us posted for next year!

Final tally - 308 golfers participated, nearly $30,000 raised for WWP.

Next year: August 10th
