As a public service, I feel this thread needs to be started to preserve our collective well being. I'll begin. Whatever you do, do not be lured by an all star cast of Anne Hathaway, Ben Affleck, William Dafoe and Rosie Perez. The Last Thing He Wanted is the last thing you should watch. The plot is indecipherable, the acting is horrible, the characters behave in ways that defy all logic. Do Not Watch It! You have been warned.

now, I HAVE to watch this horrendous piece of theatre

I was just warned off Badland by my FIL. He will generally watch most things but he said he didn't even finish it. On IMDB it has 5.7 which under my rating is as follows
8-10 - Must Watch
7+ Good to watch
5-7 Meh something to do
1-4 - You must be desperate

But then I also take that with a pinch of educated salt for stuff I know I won't like anyway.

Having said that, I've not finished watching The Irishman as it just dragged, it really should have been a mini series rather than a 3 1/2 hour film.

not sure if there anyone that hasn't seen this but if you haven't don't bother:

The Irishman

wow what i long boring and bad movie. just another long gangster movie. it was nice to see joe pesci again but the movie is unwatchable without fast forwarding through the majority of the movie.

Even though we (felt like it) forced ourselves through about 2 hours of it I really can't be bothered to go back and finish it. Especially now as it has been so long I'd have to go back a while in the film to catch myself up again, and I really CBA!

I heard it was another great gangster movie like Godfather and Casino. I thought those were both boring and a lot of people that like them thought Irishman was boring. No way I will even start The Irishman.

The wife and I will sometimes watch some of the no name movies on Netflix and have really stumbled upon some great movies, however the other night we tried a movie that was rated at around 3.5 stars that appeared to have a good plot.

Don't remember the name, but here is where it gets crazy. It was SO BAD that for some strange reason, her and I kept watching it. We just kept looking at each other and asking questions like, "Is this for real?, Did you get that?, What did that mean?, Was that weird? Watching it was like our minds became lost to reality. :ROFLMAO:

let me say that i loved goodfellas and was hoping that maybe just maybe this might be half as good. but at 3+ hours of old dudes arguing and scheming to kill each other....nah it was not good

I simply could not stand 3 hours of that at all. Movies like that waste too much time with filler.

You thought Godfather and Casino were boring?! 😳

Yeah, I liked Casino at least. I didn't even enjoy Godfather. I guess I had already seen a lot of gangster movies so it wasn't the first for me. I was expecting too much.

6 Underground is a terrible wast of time if you want to watch that as well. I was literally pissed off after watching this and wasting my time on the couch drinking beer.

I kind of go out of my way to watch lousy movies on netflix sometimes... I've found some enjoyable movies that way... I've found a lot more crap too. One that wasn't too bad was Radius... people die when they get within 50' of this guy... it was different and had a couple of plot twists that weren't apparent at first.

Downsizing....

Absolute trash and a bizarre movie. I was actually pissed at myself for watching it. Honestly it feels like random scenes from one guys life and doesn’t ever tie anything together.

Is that the one where the guy shrinks or whatever? I know I can google it but I don't wanna.

My vote is for Tiger King!:banghead:

I agree. I think godfather is one of the most overrated movies I've ever seen. But like you, the gangster genre doesn't really appeal to me.

If you think of the name, let us know, save us!

I was super excited to watch this after reading reviews and hearing chatter around the water cooler, but holy smokes... that was super boring. Cool to see Joe Pesci again for sure, but wow.

Fractured takes the cake for me. Absolutely horrible IMO. We guessed what was going on from nearly the beginning and it just kept getting worse. Sam Worthington should've passed on this script. It's literally just hours of my life I can't get back.

Coffee and Kareem was not worth my 1.5 hours, but it may be worth yours. :ROFLMAO:

Are Birdbox and Ad Astra on Netflix right now? Cuz damn...

Badland would probably be OK if you've never seen any other western before. Or any other movie. Or anyone who could act.

Anyone ever seen Rubber? It was on Netflix at one point. It's about a telekinetic tire. The movie's so bad it makes fun of itself.
