I'm bumping this one because I took a fall down some stairs earlier today while helping my cousin move some stuff and jacked up my back. Therefore at this point in time it is my favorite review item of 2018.

How are the pads holding up?
I’d imagine as long as they are cleaned and stored properly they hold up...

yup they are perfectly fine. Clean, storing on the plastic pad it comes with. The good news is when they need to be replaced, they aren't expensive.
