My swing is so lost right now 150 yards could be anywhere from a 9i-7i,ndepending on what technique/swing I have that day.

9i, knockdown 8, 3/4 choke down 7i,. flier pw, bunt 6i
Stock 9-iron with my stronger lofted P790 and CF-16. But it used to be PW with my weaker lofted MP-52, once upon a time.

Location can play a big part in club selection as well - altitude and typical weather conditions can make a big difference
Here in the UK, I will tend to hit an easy 7i for 150yds when it is cooler, but if we have unusually warm weather I can hit a 9i sometimes but usually it is an 8i during the summer months
Played a couple times in the Caribbean and the first time I was really messed up with distances - completely air-mailed a par 3 around 140yds with a 9i and only just landed on the back edge with a PW

In the yuck weather months an easy 6i.
in hot weather I’d probably try and step on a 7i.
