. Buy a decent headset so you can have both hands free while you're talking. Speakerphones aren't good enough IMO.

I have a VOIP Polycom VVX400 (around $150 on Amzn) and the speakerphone in it is professional level quality. It's fantastic. I use headphones too but not as much lately since this thing is sooo good.

For VOIP I ported my number over to ANVEO a few years ago and for $8/mo it's been fantastic as well.
