Worst miss in golf?

Hands down the shank. It drove my wife mad for almost a year. She is a very good golfer, but when she it one it almost made her quit golf for awhile. I seem to also have that tendency. However if I do it I know it is because I don't always keep my butt against that imaginary wall thus hitting the ball near the hosel. At least that corrects it most of the time.

My buddy and I were playing in our heaven and hell 2 man tournament back in January. We were playing with his older brother who has been the club champion several times and another member. My buddy was super hungover and got the shanks on about hole 8. The back 9 is alternate shot and he’s shanked 3 so far. The 14th hole I put one in the middle and he shanks a PW right. I tell him to use his mulligan that we bought and he shanks it worse. They started singing “all I want for Christmas is a shankopotamus”.
