I think it is a cool concept, but in reality are you going to play more then once if you are not playing with your family? I don't see my golfing friends even playing this if they come over.

I see it more as a tailgate situation. I also think it might complicate the drinking procedure too much.

Would it be an acceptable replacement for console or washers.?

Wasn't even picking up on the beer pong vibes. I know I am getting old when that isn't my first thought.
 
100% yes. I have a chipping one and non-golfers love to play it. This would be even easier.
 
We play chippo in the yard as a drinking game with friends. This would allow us to play inside. I approve.
