I'm biased, but I think this is a pretty good impact position for an 8-year old. I have her hit a basketball in the front yard as hard as she can...

Here is video of a chip, I'm pretty proud of my little girl!!!!

Great thread idea. I cant contribute to it though. One day.

I started her when she was 2....

She just turned 8, she got her 2nd set of clubs, and her first set of Callaways...she's pretty excited

Darn kid is swinging from the top. Losing his spine angle and casting. It's ok, it's the greatest thing I've seen in a long time.

He hits the ball most the time. Should be scratch by his first birthday.

This was about 6 months ago. He's got a great follow thru, but we need to work on the grip.

That's a great looking swing...I LOVE junior golf for girls, I think it's far and away the best sport for girls to play. My problem has been getting her to practice. She loves being on the course, but she hates the driving range

I put these on my daughter's first set of clubs, best money I ever spent, it forces her hands to be on the club the right way...

Yes...it's the one range she likes because she can go over to the short game area and play in the bunkers...

Here is my 4 year-old. His hand -eye coordination is starting to get a lot better. Not really focusing on telling what to do just yet. I just give him a bunch of balls and let him have at it for now. I want him to enjoy his time for now.

He can really get the club moving. I agree let them swing as hard and fast as they can when young then when they are older give them more guidance on swing plane. My little guy is 2, I need to get some of him.

Yeah going back and looking at the pictures this kid actually clears those hips pretty good and gets down and after the ball. I never sat down and analyzed his swing until just now.

Thanks - she is working hard. Mine likes the range but hates working on chipping. I've turned it into a financial benefit to her - we will play best out of 10 (closest shots) 2x a week for $20 a game (I'm the only loser here!) - it forces her to practice because there is nothing she loves better then beating Dad and taking my money
