Hey guys, first time poster so go easy on me!
Ive recently started hitting the range again in hopes to gain some consistency in my swing. After looking at these videos, the things Im currently addressing is the wrist twist at the start of the swing and slowing down my backswing a little.
My biggest issue has always been striking constancy with fat and thin shots and that is the #1 problem with my game.
after watching these videos what seems to be hundreds of times Ive noticed a slight head bob in my backswing, could this be the problem with my inconstancy? Ive looked through some of the forum looking for drills to eliminate this and find a similar swing but its hard when Im not sure if that is the main problem. Anyways any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't see any extreme head movement. And to tell you the truth your swing is pretty solid. My concern would be the manipulation of the hands on the back swing. This can lead to erratic contact. If this is a concern then I'd work on getting the toe of the club pointed to the sky. This should happen pretty naturally if you are using the shoulders more than just the arms to get to the top. I see a great deal of arms in the videos.

The key is to use the big muscles to get the club in the proper position. And that is in front of you. With your lack of shoulders the club is getting behind you and affecting your timing. This is why you're inconsistent at impact. And like so many golfers, your lower body doesn't start the down swing. The lower body isn't that bad but just stagnant enough to give you inconsistent delivery.

Work on that tempo a bit more, keep the club in front of you and I think everything will line up.

Looks pretty good to me too except it appears that the weight never seems to shift much to the back and stays forward mostly.
Just an observation.

Hey mattcl, are those videos from the golf dome in Saskatoon? I've been taking lessons from Brad Birnie there if it is. He's the pro from Moon lake, and has lessons in the dome during winter. I'd highly recommend him. Great golfer as well. He's won the Lobstick at Waskesui a few times.
And welcome to THP! You will love it here!
