What do you all think?

Was browsing CNN when I saw this article on Stephen Hawking:

I find it very interesting. I want to know what the consensus from THP is. I hope this is an appropriate place for it. I know some have strong feelings, so be careful when phrasing opinions. Personally, I don't know what to think. I want to think that there's something beyond the realm of "us", but if there is, where is it and why hasn't science found it? :confused2:
Not that science can prove everything, but....IDK. I'll let THP decide. Again, sorry if this is the wrong place to post this or this isn't something people wish to discuss. If so, just let the thread die. Thanks guys.

Stephen is a Newtonian/Cartesian cosmologist whose philosophy/beliefs are a bit dated in my opinion.
