Freddie, here is a slo-mo of todays swing. Am I crossing the line too far at the top?
The shot was straight and well hit, but I felt like was having to redirect the club a bit.
Any other suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Help me Sir Freddie !

I don't think crossing the line is the issue. The feeling of redirect comes from the change in spine angle. Your spine move a good two inches on the back swing. This movement should cause an over the top move into the ball but you really force the hands down and inside.

The side affect of this, is a lack of release through the ball. The club is square at impact but this move will cause a two way miss. Hold the spine angle from address and let the swing do what it does.

I am hoisting everything up on the backswing....right?

Yes, you're spine is straightening out after you take the club away.

I see that now. I will start working on that right away. Thanks for the help !!

Drumdog, what software are you using to be able to video at such a slow speed? I've been looking for ways to tape like this.

My iPhone will record like this. It has a slow mo video function.
