Yeah but to top it off they have to live in Ohio.

Newsflash, New jersey sucks too

I think someone like Alex Smith would do well there. They need a couple of receivers as well.

Yeah I like the few young guys they drafted this year and definitely would benefit from 1-2 more proven receivers to be added to the mix

Jaguars fire GM Gene Smith. Owner will allow new GM to make decision on Mularkey.

Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie announces Andy Reid is out: "It is time for the Eagles to move in a new direction"

Didn't take long

I didnt see the report earlier but it appears Norv Turner and AJ Smith are out in San Diego. Not surprised.

Greg Knapp about to be fired as OC for the Raiders. On a personal level this one makes me smile. He was an absolute turd with the Falcons under Jim Mora Jr who was also a turd.

I dont know what it means exactly but the Jets just cancelled Rex Ryan's press conference.

Lovie Smith fired in Chicago. Didnt see that one coming.

Now, it's official. Well the Crennel part is. Still holding out some faint hope that Pioli is gone too. Not holding my breath though!

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Monday that Romeo Crennel has been relieved of his duties as head coach.

Crennel, 65, was named Kansas City’s 12th head coach in franchise history on Jan. 9, 2012. He compiled a 2-14 regular season record in 2012 and finished the 2011 season 2-1 as the club’s interim head coach.

"I have a tremendous amount of respect and admiration for Romeo, both personally and professionally,” Chiefs Chairman and CEO Clark Hunt said. “He is an accomplished coach, a man of great character and he helped guide our football team through some extremely challenging circumstances this season.

“However, I am embarrassed by the poor product we gave our fans this season, and I believe we have no choice but to move the franchise in a different direction. I will immediately begin the search for the next head coach of the Chiefs. The entire football operation will remain under review, and there may be additional changes to come. No final determination has been made at this point on the future of General Manager Scott Pioli.

“Finally, I want to personally apologize to our fans for our performance this season. We are blessed to play for some of the best and most passionate fans in the National Football League and they deserve better than what we gave them this season. I want our fans to know that I will do everything I can to provide them with a dramatically better team – both next season and in the seasons to come – and our entire organization appreciates their support.”

Chan Gailey out in Buffalo as well.

Damn, hits just keep coming.

Red Jesus announcement anytime soon?

Agreed. Maybe that prompts JJ to make a change and go after Lovie.

Or Clark Hunt. I still like to hope that there would be some way to get Cowher out of retirement though. Schottenheimer would be a good GM I think.

Lovie Smith fired in Chicago. Didnt see that one coming.

I think this had to happen. A team that has underachieved for quite some time. I was actually pretty surprised he has held on for as long as he has.

They dont call it Black Monday for nothing. Lovie is a shock but Bear fans I know will be happy.

What a dark and dreary day, my wife is a bears fan and says she's sad. As a non bears fan I can see why they'd make the change.

The Bears have already asked for permission to interview Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy.

That's a shocker. I liked Lovie, the Bears had an awesome defense despite some key injuries. Cutler and the offense though sucked.
