LOL i am glad i passed the 2nd course, i was dead on my feet - a nap was just what the dr ordered.

sure thing - i do want ya guys to play it - its a nice course - its not the toughest in central ohio (pinnacle, muirfield, scioto CC)

but its challenging and in really great shape right now.

Its been a great place to practice before work - they have a great facility - but there are no one really my age, like us, to get out with - and its SO much more fun playing with you guys.

dan will probably shoot 72 lol. i fired an 81 is my best ( doubled 17 and 18) could have been my first under 80, but i blew it on the finishing holes.
 
That was a great time Mike, although, like everyone said, the courses weren't in the best shape. Royal Oak should be renamed Royal Pain. Sooo many blind shots off the tee, poor Martin was ready to blow a fuse. We survived though, so thanks for setting everything up Mike and look forward to doing it again.

thank god the pin got in the way, otherwise I would have had myself a LONG putt coming back

lol its all good, it was just nice getting out and playing some golf

Sounds like I missed a great time. I really wanted to make it but Saturdays away are tough for me. I'm in charge of the kiddos in the a.m. so the wife can have a well-deserved break and do what she wants (sleep in, veg out, go to breakfast/brunch with friends, etc.). If you guys put something together up here, though, I could almost definitely play an afternoon round.

Id say its safe to say we will try to get together at least once more, maybe some fall golf in Oct, so keep an eye out for a new thread
 
I'll definitely keep an eye out for an "Ohio Get Together Part III" thread!

Anyone ever golf at the indoor simulator in Washington Courthouse? http://www.teeitupgolfcenter.net/ Could be a possibility for winter outings. :D
 
Seems like a very random place for a golf sim!!

I'll be ready for OTHP3. Maybe this time it'll be a weekend that isn't insanely busy for me!
 
Sorry about the delay in posting , Had a great time , the courses so-so but all in all had a blast. I will definetly be in for another get together later this year. It's nice to put faces to names and watch others play to get ideas on other things to try. A chut is not one of them, I have trouble with the long putter from the fringe but maybe I will get use to it ,but chipping aint broke so.... Any way let me know if this comes up again. And sugestions maybe Miami White Water Park and Circling Hills both in Harrison about 20 mins apart, just a thought.
 
good to meet you as well hitman, you played lights out after those first few holes at Vineyard til the end of the day.

Im a huge Miami whitewater fan for sure, there are also a few other courses up near dayton that is closer for everyone and solid as well, but we can cross that bridge when we come to it!

Ya hitmans game wasnt as off as ours lol, he played well. I dont care where OTHP3 is but ill be there, you can count on it.
 
I think it was jitters , nerves or just plain lost for lack of a better word as having not met anyone prior to Sat and I guess when you look back and say I'm not the only one who has a bad hole or two well then I just played and had fun. Came home and took out the bad on my regular partners and threw a 77 on them Sunday with 3 birdies in a row. Any way I will be sending Marc a money order for a dozen balls and look forward to teeing it up with any of you guy's when ever possible. Thanks again for a great time

glad to hear, looking at maybe first weekend in October, should be nice and cool by then
