Luke should enjoy his short lived non winning #1 ranking.

I like RM but sorry LD he does not have more talent than TW.

Rory has a great swing and tons of potential but talent also includes a short game and putting and the ability to win. His scrambling and short game need work as does his putting - in those areas, I say he is pretty average. As far as wins, we will see what he does. Luke should enjoy his short lived non winning #1 ranking. 2012 is shaping up to be a great golf season.

You think!?!? Rory was #5 on the euro tour in scrambling in 2011. Seems better than average to me.

I'm not so sure. Right now I'd say Luke is the best player even though he hasn't won a lot. He did beat Westwood head to head this year.

And beating Kaymer and Simpson head to head this year.

There is nothing short lived about him being No 1, he has an incredible short game which is so consistent and that is what makes him stand well away from the rest.

Really hope he wins a major next year so all the doubters hush.......
