OMG, you just scared me Craig.

OMG, you just scared me Craig.

That's funny, most of these were gifts, didn't intend to start a collection. But the Simpsons figures have all ready at least doubled in value(some way more than that).

And they make a mighty fine wallpaper too.

Total babe magnet.

Man everyones picking on Craig. My old room used to be like that, only with Star Wars toys, but my girlfriend wouldnt let me take them when we moved in together.

I'm just joshin' ya. I had Homies glued to the top of my monitor at work, mostly because it drove my boss nuts. I also surrounded the screen with "Bacon" stickers from Whataburger, which drove him extra crazy. :D

I don't know what all I collect nowadays. I've gotten rid of almost everything. I've got a couple of project vehicles, lots of books, a handfull of cigars, a set of golf clubs, a mountain bike, a few changes of clothes, and lots of tools.

Strange, but when I got married and we merged households, it was all my stuff in the yard sale, not hers?!?!?!?

It's all good, no offense taken, everyone collects something.

That's usually the way it works, haha

Those knives are cool--the high priced stuff. But what's with the pink base for the stand mixer?

I mean yeah whats with that? In all seriousness my wife got one as a wedding present they are pretty amazing yum brownies, no wait cupcakes sound good now!!

When I was younger, I collected football cards. LOTS of football cards haha as in probably over 10,000 in a closet in my parents house.

Now that I'm older I semi collect these

I have a few that have been in the family for generations and I've collected quite a few on some European trips.

When I was younger (7-13), I collected baseball cards. I know everybody did at that age, but I took it pretty seriously. I was the kid who shoveled every driveway in the neighborhood and would walk the lawnmower through the whole development to make money. That all went into baseball cards. I was also fortunate enough to have an uncle who owned a pawnshop, so guess what I got every year for Christmas. The collection is still in the closet of my old room at my parents' house, and I told my mom that if she thought about getting rid of any of them, there would be trouble. I have some pretty rare cards in there, maybe a few can help out with the kids' tuition down the road.

A couple good ones;

Mark McGwire card from 1984 Olympic team.
Willie Mays 1967 mint condition Bowman.
Mariano Rivera rookie Bowman (Bowman was the only company to make a Mariano Rivera rookie card, and it was while they were in the process of scaling back, so that card is pretty rare).
Rocky Colavito rookie in mint condition.
Willie Stargell rookie in excellent condition.
Roger Maris with the Indians in good condition.
There are plent more, I think the collection is about 10,000 cards deep.

I collect the course balls from any that I visit, but more so than that I collect coffee mugs. Just picked up two more from the Cirque du Soleil show that was in town last night.

I collect ski's, motorcycles...always have at least 3. Right now I have my 96 Harley Dyna Wideglide, my 04 Yamaha R1 & the latest toy is a Kawasaki Ninja 250R, bought it for the wife but I spend more time on them she does.

Also have a habit of collecting James Bond 007 items, Frank Loyd Wright books, Star Wars stuff...I have quite a few items from the original release back in 77.

I inadvertently collect dead video formats. Laser disc! Yeah I'll buy that. HD-DVD? Looks good to me! The price I pay for being an early adopter. Now I'm waiting for Blu-Ray to die so I have even more obsolete media. LOL

I have some 8-tracks for you mytime. How about a pocket rocker? LOL

I collected Hot Wheels Cars for awhile till they Literally put me in debt only have about 150 went for the classic "Red Line" cars thinking about all of the money I sunk into them about 2,500.00 from Ebay, Never will I do that again I have them up on My wall three shadow boxes full they take me back to when I was a Kid but also serve as a good lesson now when I look at them.

I have a collection of photographic light meters and log books. They span 1890's to present, with the majority in the the 1930-1950 range. The older ones are extinction meters -- basically comparing light versus filtered light. Then there are film-like ones - one exposes a bit of light sensitive paper and times the exposure speed to determine the light intensity. Then the CdS meter -- light hitting CdS which produces a current that is displayed on a meter. Physics applied to photography. I have about 100. Most are still functional. A add-on to my photography hobby.

I am thinking about collection of 16mm and 32mm movie cameras and projectors. It turns out the first versions were incredibly well built and produced in great enough numbers to be found today. The old ones are real mechanical gems. But boy the space for storage is immense. Especially the projectors.

I collect sports memorabilia. And I used to collect Mustangs. I had 5 at one time, but since I moved and dont have the room anymore, I only have one left (1967). I used to also collect oil & gas station memorabilia when i had a barn/garage. But now that Im in a condo, I dont have room for any of that anymore either. Heres some of the sports memorabilia (room was a mess when i took these photos). This is actually only about half of it:
