Your Top 5 Courses Played

Without ranking the 5:

Haig Point
PGA National Champions Course
Torrey Pines South (right before the U.S. Open)
Copper Rock
One of the courses in Kauai whose name I can’t remember, LOL

1) Tobacco Road
2) Lawsonia Links
3) University Ridge
4) Dormie Club
5) Chariot Run

update after recent Missouri trip:

1) Tobacco Road
2) Lawsonia Links
3) University Ridge
4) Payne's Valley
5) Dormie Club

some contenders coming up over the next few months with Kiva Dunes, Ballyhack, The Quarry, and Mammoth Dunes all on the horizon.
plus another visit to Lawsonia might lead to a re-rank?

Pebble beach
TPC Sawgrass
Baltustrol
Arcola
Hamilton Farm
Olde Florida

Cabot Cliffs
Baltimore Country Club (East)
Old White Greenbrier
Cape Fear Country Club
Sand Valley Mammoth Dunes

I've played far less than most of you, and fully expect a new one in this list in a couple months, but for now:

Oak Quarry, CA
Old Works, MT
Northern Pines, MT
LA Costa, CA
Star Pass, AZ

Cascata (Las Vegas, NV)
Dragon Ridge (Las Vegas, NV)
Aviara (Carlsbad, CA)
Firestone North (Akron, OH)
Virtues (Nashport, OH)

Honorable Mentions
The Grand (San Diego, CA)
Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA)
Firestone South (Akron, OH)

In no order.

Hideaway. (both)
Mossy Oak
Poipu Bay
Paynes Valley/Ozark National
Hammock Beach (both)

I'm not picking a a fav between Clive & Dye, Payne's & Ozark, and Ocean & Conservatory.

Seth Meyers Win GIF by Late Night with Seth Meyers

Ballybunion
North Berwick
Hollinwell
Portmarnock
County Louth

All europe. I've played in the US a few times, played Kiawah Island the year after the Ryder Cup. Mind blowingly difficult for my golf at the time. Might as well have just emptied my balls into the bin at the start of the round. I'd love to play it again

Torrey Pines
Aviara
Olympia Fields (both)
Medinah #3
Forest Hills Country Club, Missouri (shaft up event)
Interesting you liked Torrey better. The view at south 3 and 4 and 13 are great but Aviara and the flowers and views into par 3s...wow

I am cheating with a tie for the 5th spot.

Pebble
Lahinch
Bandon Dunes
Pacific Dunes
Pasatiempo & Portmarnock

Interesting! I always go back and forth on a few of these:
1. Manele Golf Course, HI
2. Kiawah Ocean Course
3. Pinehurst No. 4
4. Kapalua Plantation
5. Pinehurst No. 2

HM: Caledonia, True Blue, Pine Needles, Tobacco Road, Celebration Golf Club, Wailea Gold, Championsgate (both)

The Crossings, Carlsbad Ca
Sandpiper, Goleta Ca
Heathrow, Lake Mary Fla
Grand Cypress, Orlando Fla
Bay Hill, Orlando

Let me think - but Hideaway & Ballyhack are in there & Mossy Oak isn’t for personal reasons (nothing to do with the course).

oh no no. Sorry that wasnt any particular order. I tell people all the time if you have to choose between Aviara or Torrey, I'm picking Aviara hands down!!

Torrey has the nostalgia and is way more famous.....but Aviara is cheaper for out of towners and is an absolutely beautiful course

This is actually my wallpaper on my phone

Tobacco Road
Dormie Club
Southern Pines
Pine Needles
RTJ Capitol Hill

1.Hideway(Both Courses)
2.Kingsbarns
3.Scioto CC
4.Harbour Town
5.Old Course @ St. Andrews

In no particular order, cause I'll drive myself nuts

Pebble Beach
Bethpage Black
The Country Club
Shelter Harbor Golf Club (RI)
TPC Sawgrass

Tough one to narrow down! Could definitely make this 10 easily

Pebble Beach - Mry, CA
Spyglass Hill -Mry, CA
Quivira -Cabo, Mx
Sunnigdale Old - Surrey, UK
Presidio - SF, CA

In that order. Spyglass, Quivira and probably even Sunningdale are better courses than Pebble, but Pebble gets top spot for me as it’s so iconic and was my bucket list course.

Pebble Beach-CA
Sand Hollow-Utah
Erin Hills-WI
Chambers Bay-WA
Kiawah Island Ocean Course-SC

Dang, you rank Cabot over Streamsong?
Yes. Streamsong is very nice, but the Blue just seemed to all run together, save for a couple holes.

Royal County Down
Royal Portrush
Sage Valley
Port Stewart
Quail Hollow

Cascata (Las Vegas, NV)
Dragon Ridge (Las Vegas, NV)
Aviara (Carlsbad, CA)
Firestone North (Akron, OH)
Virtues (Nashport, OH)

Honorable Mentions
The Grand (San Diego, CA)
Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA)
Firestone South (Akron, OH)
I couldnt agree more about Firestone North being better than South. Without the tour history, South is equal to West
