Today we are honored to continue the 2021 THP Holiday Cheer Event, the annual contest that is the celebration of the THP online community. Over a decade ago, we hosted our first Holiday Cheer, and it was a contest unlike any other and this year the campaign continues with amazing prizes.

2021 THP Holiday Cheer ran this entire week and today it finishes up with the amazing Golden Ticket to THP Experiences.

THE GOLDEN TICKET
The Golden Ticket is the elusive and incredible prize dedicated exclusively to our Albatross Club Members. You must be a 2022 member of this club to win this one and have your voucher for any THP Experience on tap for this coming year. Of course the club is open to anybody that would like to join and helps support an amazing charity.

For those new and do not know much about THP Experiences and what this Golden Ticket is about, here is a brief explanation. Imagine heading to beautiful golf resort or course and upon arriving being given a new set of clubs, playing golf with the people that created those clubs and doing so with a small group of other golfers? These happen every month on this website and Golden Ticket let’s you choose which one you want to be a part of.

Of course we want everybody to be able to enter the contest, so if the lucky winner is not a 2022 Albatross Club Member, we will put together a fun prize pack filled with goodies and ship it off for them to enjoy.

Entering is as easy as following these instructions.

Step 1 – Leave a comment below on why you want to go to a THP Experience?

Step 2 – Sit back and see if you won when the winner is announced early next week on the THP Forum.

That’s it. It’s that time of year where we celebrate the wonderful THP Community and the people and companies that make it great.

Don’t forget you have to get your entry in before the end of the weekend!

Who wouldn't want to enter this contest? The elusive Golden Ticket! Awesome gear, meeting new THPers, and playing a little golf.... sign me up for a chance at getting to hand select a THP experience to go to!

Golden Ticket!!! This is awesome.

Each THP event is special in their own right. The common ground for each is the friendships, bonds and excitement that the participants share (as well as the stories). I have been fortunate to participate in one and the friendships continue to this day.
I would love to go to another to extend the THP family and create more friendships/bonds/stories to share for years to come.
 
The biggest best prize there is.
I would like to go to a THP experience mostly for the friendships and life long memories that will be made. The equipment, and food would also be pretty awesome.
 
A THP experience being able to be picked by yourself is unbelievable really. The GT is THE TICKET! They bring the community home really, once you've been to one you can't wait for the next opportunity.

So many fun options to chose from already!

It’s been far too long since my first and only THP Experience and I miss the fun and action.
 
THP Experiences are the ultimate opportunity for amateur golfers. There is no where else that will take players of all skill levels and load them up with cutting edge gear and mind blowing swag.

The opportunity to meet and learn from leading professionals in the golf industry can not be overstated. It amazes me the amount of knowledge these individuals possess and their willingness to share that knowledge and answer a wide range of questions with a bunch of random golfers they are often meeting for the first time.

The life long friendships and bonds made with others through a game we share a love of is mind blowing as well. Everyone wants to win but you even if your team does not come out on top, everyone appreciates just being there and is happy for their new friends that did come out on top. I can’t think of another competition where that is the case.

The courses are always top notch and often not a place the attendees would even play in their lifetime if not for THP.

THP Experiences are just that. An experience like no other. Why wouldn’t any person who loves the game of golf not want to attend a THP Experience?
 
it would be a fantastic opportunity to go to an event, get to pick that event and have a great time. Community and brotherhood are words used on this forum a fair amount and no better way to continue to give back to the community than to be an active member posting during a live event. This would be a fantastic win, best of luck to everyone.
 
I just became an Albatross Club member so I could enter this awesome contest! Definitely couldn't miss out on this one! I'd love the opportunity to go on one of the experiences and have access to build a bag with amazing clubs and hopefully learn a thing or two to improve my game!

There is nothing like a THP experience. Its like a dream trip with the best people one could know. I've never laughed as hard as I did on an experience. It is life changing. The people, the trip, the courses, the swag, the equipment, and the food make it the trip of a lifetime. When I explain it to my other golf buddies, they are blown away. Who else gets to build their own custom project X shaft ? This is why I want to go on a THP experience.
 
THP Experiences are great - access to industry experts, meet new friends, eat very well(!), play some golf, get and review new gear. Some would say it’s a hacker’s paradise. Hope to be part of many more experiences to come.
 
Holy crap! A golden ticket! THP Experiences are like no other event! The competition and comradery are second to none! They are truly life changing!
 
The experience in meeting people that love golf as much as I do would be incredible. They might not want to play with someone like me because I'm not the best golfer but it would be fun.
 
Kind of fitting that today would be the golden ticket day when you think about the 12 days of Christmas song. Day 5 is 5 golden rings!

The golden ticket appears to be a very coveted thing and for his reason. I can't believe the generosity of THP of giving it away TBH.

As I've started to become more engaged in the forum the more I'm realizing these experiences are so much more than golf and gear. Those things are just icing on the cake. These experiences bring the forum together they build long lasting relationships and sometimes fun rivalries. There isn't another word to really describe these events other than the word experience, because that's what they are. It's an experience for the participants and the forum.

So, my reason to be picked for the golden ticket is this...

It would be an amazing honor to be part of something bigger than myself and participate in an experience where we bring the community together and grow the game of golf.

Good luck to everybody who enters! If you aren't an AC member and this gets you to join, I assure you that being an AC member is the best $35 you'll ever spend in golf.
 
This answer is easy, I want to go for the people and fun we would have. The experience itself is always absolutely awesome but some of my favorite memories in life have come from hanging out with a group of people I didn't know before and having the time of our lives. The golf, equipment, etc is a cherry on top.
 
THP experiences are incredible, the THPers, the fun, JB and the THP team, the competition, the Sponsors reps, the venues, the food, the fun, the fun, the fun…..
Oh….and the incredible equipment, gear, toys! Its like Christmas morning for big kids!
Did I mention the fun?
 
First of all - I've never experienced a real THP event. Have played golf with some THPers and there is really nothing better. However, after following the live threads and seeing all the excitement that occurs during official THP events - it would be a dream to have the Golden Ticket opportunity and the pick to attend a certain selected event.

Second - the opportunity to expand my list of those who love golf around the nation and world - is one that nobody should pass up.
 
Yes! The Golden Freaking Ticket! THP events are the absolute best. It's been awhile since I have been. To win this and then be able to pick an event of your choosing is crazy cool. Thanks THP!

This is the big one! I would love to go to a THP experience for the chance to expand my horizons, to meet new people and gain new perspective on what this game means and why it inspires me to continue to both play and improve. To be a part of a team event and share that experience with others would be incredible, Good luck everyone, I look forward to following along with the winners journey next year!
 
Would be great to meet some fellow thp’ers face to face, talk some serious smack, and hit the ball while drinking some good bourbon. And put a real sh***y year behind me!

I want to go to a THP Experience to meet some more awesome members of this forum and get to know more about a brand and the people that make the company what it is. I have a lot going on in my life at this time and have not been able to play much golf or enjoy THP like in the past so the Golden Ticket would ensure that I get to do both.
 
Play a great golf course, meet fellow golfers, learn about clubs and pick the experts’ brains. Sounds like a fantastic experience!
