A major just would not be a major without a contest at THP right? Well with the PGA Championship coming up next week, we wanted to let everybody know that our contest is up and you are able to make your picks as soon as you would like. This is the field as of 8/03/09
PAHR Golf Fairway Essentials has sponsored this one, and we are excited to have them on board. I think most of the readers know exactly what are thoughts are on their apparel. Being one of our favorite brands out there right now. The winner will receive a complete outfit of their choice from PAHR. That is right, you pick the:
Shorts or Pants
Shirt
Belt
Hat
By the time the contest kicks off most of the items from their new line will be on their site as well, so you will have tons to choose from. Over a $200 Value.
Since it is a major you know that it usually means picking the players, and THP and PAHR did not let you down this time either. We have a little twist on this one though.
You will be picking a team of 4 players for your roster out of the entire field at the PGA Championship. But there is a twist of course. Each player you choose must have his first name OR his last name start with P, A, H, R. One of these letters must be the first letter in their name. (first or last)
You must also select the winners total number of strokes for the tie breaker. For example, if you think the winner will shoot 70 each round, his total score would be 280. 4 players and total score must be turned in to be eligible.
Rules
1. Only one entry per person.
2. In the event of a tie, Tiebreaker will be awarded based on total number of winning score.
3. Entries must be received via email or Private Message by 11:59pm EST on Wednesday August 12th, 2009. josh@thehackersparadise.com or golfergal@thehackersparadise.com
4. The team with the most prize money wins.
To enter simply pick your team of 4 players that qualify and send it in, along with your tiebreaker of total number of the winning score. We hope we have a record turnout. Good luck to those that jump in, we hope to have a record turnout for this one.
