This always cracks me up.
If you want one,buy it.Don't worry about next years product.If this new driver works well,you won't be buying it.If It doesn't then worry about next years driver. Otherwise there really isn't that much of a difference between 1-2 year old drivers,It's very minor
Just get the right shaft for you and this R9 will be good to you.
Are you looking to lower your launch or raise it?
R9= lower launch,less spin
R9 460= higher launch a few rpm's more and a touch draw bias.

You can say this every single time about a club. There will always be something new coming out soon. TM will be releasing another driver in the R9 series, but it will not be in 2009. It will be in 2010.
