I have Liz looking at the local online shelters now, but she's not crazy about the idea. With both of us working and running a lot she's not sure its the right time.

Well gents, here is the puppy/dog we got THE SAME FREAKIN DAY WE MOVED IN. That's my girlfriend for you. She is a 9 month old rescue shepherd/husky mix that has had NO training. Far from being completely disciplined but she has already came a long way. Her name is Nala.

Thank dude! She is a 100% full time job right now but I can totally see she will be an awesome dog, just needs some direction. Luckily my house has a 6' privacy fence in the back yard so it's not as much hassle dealing with her when we are gone.

No he's been good there. It's more digging in the yard and eating the deck. It's not bad yet but I am hoping to stop it before it comes an option.

She is adapting to the cats okay but she gets excited when she sees them and scares them. It is pretty funny. She basically acts like a 10 lb puppy in a 50 lb body haha.

Good luck with that! Charlie is 3 years old and acts like a 90 pound puppy in a 90 pound body!
