I knew it was huge but wow! I never get fan mail. Sign me up!

Where can I sign up? That would be a sweet gig. Not only getting the pictures but also the address' to go with them. :bananadance: I'd be afraid though of some of those guys. They are BIG.

How did you manage to derail your own thread?

I'm the same way in person - I jump from one topic to another. I don't mind threadjacking as long as it's interesting to the majority of people on the forum.

Yeah I take the blame, I am sure my Vince McMahon comment was the catalyst. Sorry Diane.

I don't mind. No need to apologize. Besides you now know about internet porn. Where else could you have learned that?

That is a good point! I have now cancelled all weekend plans due to this new revelation. :thumb:

Quagmire is classic!

There for a second I was dreading some idiot pundit or nut job politico to order the USAF or some other branch to attempt some stupid, foolhardy rescue that would kill/down a couple of members and/or aircraft, and probably kill the boy.

Then all we would hear about is how "unprepared for reality" the military is for handling "real-world" situations like this, when it clearly is feasible since it is in movies like Air Force One, Executive Descision etc. Or worse the parents suing Uncle Sam..........

IMO parents should pay, period. If they are that worried about their "rambunctious" children, don't keep freaking, super high altitude, prototype/experimental weather balloons in your backyard without some kind of electrical fence that is 20 ft high.............:banghead:

I mean come on, I am no rocket scientist but I knew soon as I heard it that the kid was a goner, if he had been aboard. Mylar wrapped helium balloons are used for some VERY high altitude stuff in the USAF and other dept's weather stuff.
