It's nice to see everyone is at least prepping for the season(Aaron,even getting to the gym is a great bonus...wish I could!).
I'll take my camera to Vegas but will have to e-mail the pics to someone who knows how to post them,this guy is old school and doesn't have
the tech ability. Let's stay warm and healthy for a few more months!

At this point, just feeling grateful that I am healthy. That chest cold was nasty!!

Just a reminder (yahoo reminded me) - get those fantasy rosters updated.

Had a great experience this morning.Ordered a Callaway stand bag from TGW(the golf warehouse).It didn't go thru so they have"Live Chat" and I explained to the
rep what I ordered and what happened. He looked into it and took my new order.Updated shipping to 2nd day(Fri delivery).What a great company! All this at
7:45 am!

That is great customer service. When I ordered my Tour Trustys through TGW, they kept me update on the status of the order throughout - even when there was a delay. They were extremely helpful. Sounds like you will have the bag for Vegas!

Reminding you of when you told the cart girl at Deerfield that you stunk and then proceeded to go -1 for the next 5 holes?

I've ordered a TON of stuff from TGW over the years. Last spring I ordered a few things, and when the box came, a Stitch headcover wasn't in there. I called up and explained and they overnighted me the headcover. I'm a big fan.

The part that rode with me at Brookwood and watched me take a 10 on the first hole. He's WAY better than I am.

Just updated my team. Had to throw Tiger in there. Tiger is tough to beat at Torrey!

Relocating from Boston to the Syracuse area, Liverpool/Baldwinsville specifically, and am looking for helpful suggestions with course reviews and general info. Have played Liverpool GC and Foxfire but that's it. Would be happy to meet up for a round once the weather clears, too. Any help or info is much appreciated !

Welcome to THP and this thread!! Even better that you are a Red Sox fan! I lived in Boston for awhile and a Red Sox fan as well. Where in Boston did you live?

Unfortunately I am not up on courses in Syracuse, but hopefully a few of the others guys will jump in and make some recommendations. I do know that you are about an hour from Turning Stone Casino which has a few nice courses. I think we are going to try to get together there this summer.

I'm in Albany, so I've never played in Syracuse, but I've played 2 of the 3 courses at Turning Stone and they are some of my favorite courses.

Keep an eye on this thread. We get together quite a bit to play all over the "Thruway."

Welcome to the thread and THP! You'll love it here. I'm about 2 hours from where you're at so I can't give much feedback on courses, but I'm sure there are others in here that will point you in the right direction.
 
I am going off memory from my college days at LeMoyne, but a few guys liked playing Green Lakes Golf Course in Syracuse. It is/was a municipal golf course so I have no idea what condition it is in, but could be worth checking out at least once.

The Green Lakes State Park course is good (ok, it's been a while, but it was good when I played it). One of the nines was designed by RTJ.

Drumlin's has both a private course and a public course I believe.

When I was in college, I played Battle Island SP, near Fulton. Short, but some interesting holes.

Short drive to the east side of Rochester, even shorter to Wayne Hills, a really nice course in Lyons.
