LOL! I think this thread was meant for me! I was just talking with Canadan about this Sunday and Cookie yesterday at the airport.

Here goes!

1989 - Northwestern Blades. I don't even know what model, I just know it had a 2iron and nothing ever felt good when I hit them
1990 - Dunlop K-Mart set Driver - SW
1997 - King Cobra II OS
2003 - Tommy Armour 845 3-P
2009 - Ping G5
2012 - Mizuno MP59
2013- R11, Rocketbladez, XHot Pro, Nike CCi, TP MC, 2013 X-forged, Rocketbladez Tour, MP59/69 Combo, Apex
2014 - Tour Preferred MC, Tour Preferred CB, Apex Pro, Bio Cell, J40 DPC.....and the year isn't over yet

'13 &'14: Dude, you got issues! Not that it's a bad thing :bulgy-eyes:

I also have a set of 2014 Callaway Edge Hybrids and irons (4-5-6 hybrid & 7 thru SW) that I was gaming the past m
onth or so.
****As you may notice in my sig, the Callaway clubs are on a time out. No fault of Callaway, I just have something going on with the guys I play with.

Your list is impressive! I love the last part though. I suspect it has something to do with the "it's the arrow, not the Indian" mindset?

This thread is making me feel better about myself, at least when it comes to iron purchases. Putters -- and wedges -- are a different story.

LOL!! I don't think you are alone

Is your wife (or your Ex) on THP? :act-up:
I don't think so but she's brilliant. I never know what she knows and since I'm just a compulsive Neanderthal by comparison, I'm pretending to be frugal. And smart. ;-)

Kidding, she doesn't care what I do and because I handle the finances, she wouldn't know anyway.

Every time I list past equipment, I find myself reminiscing about the few successes and find myself scouring eBay for past glory. Not gonna do it! Lol...

Not that this is a contest, but I think we have a winner!

Lol! Canadan and I like to say that I have a gift.

Well lets see if I can remember them...

I know I had a set that my grandpa gave me that belonged to Bobby Klampett but I cant remember what kind they were. They were older obviously and it was the set I used as I hacked it around occasionally in high school. I gave them back to my grandpa once I bought my first new set. From there once I started getting more serious about golf these are the sets I have bought and used:

Nike NDS
Nike VR Full Cavity
Nike VR Split Cavity
Taylormade MB
Callaway RAZR X Forged
Bridgestone J40 CB

I will keep the Bridgestones in the bag for a long time. LOVE them, I think the only thing that could tempt me to get a new set is once the new line comes out from Bridgestone.

I think I can remember the majority of them. No idea of the order, so here are what I have owned.

Acquity Box Set
Nike Slingshot 4D
TaylorMade Super Steel
Ping G10
Nike Pro Cavity
Nike VR Full Cavity
Adams A4R
TaylorMade Burner 1.0
Wilson Di11
Wilson Ci11
Titleist AP1
Bridgestone J38
Adams CB3
Ping i20

I think that is it... I do not plan on changing away from the i20s anytime soon.

HAHA nope, we are still under a NDA. The good thing is we can play with them and get to really know them, but NO pictures or talking about them.
Damn, I was hoping one of you Srixon staffers from this past weekend would slip up!

1. Northwestern - unknown model (long gone and still trying to forget them).
2. Dunlop - don't recall the model
3. Tommy Armour - 845 Silver Scot (still love these clubs)
4. Maxfli - A10 (first new set I ever bought. Got them around 2006. They were made by TaylorMade when they still owned the brand)
5. TaylorMade - Burner HT
6. TaylorMade - SpeedBlades (these are my gamers, but I get the itch all the time for a new set of GI irons)

Northwestern, don't remember if there was a model. (Still in moms Basement, in a Cooper Bag)
Spalding - Executives I think. Full set, irons, metal woods, everything.
Top Flight Tour Irons, Wedges.
TM R9 TP's, R11 Metal Woods.

Still waiting for my TP MC's to arrive....

80's
Macgregor - Tommy Armours
Pinseeker (lets see who remembers these irons!)

90's (not sure if this is the correct order)
Taylor Made - burner oversize
Ping Zing
Tommy Armour 845s
Callaway X-12s

2000s
Ping G-15s
Callaway Apex

Walter Hagen Ultradyne blades: handmedowns from my dad
Walter Hagen Ultradyne II blades: put these in the bag for a short time after my father passed.
No-name knockoff Ping Zing: awful clubs, awful quality. Can't believe I gamed them as long as I did. Could not afford real clubs at the time.
Titleist DCI's: Played with these a long time. 9 years. Great clubs.
Wilson Staff Ci7's: Solid, underrated clubs. Stayed in the bag for a bit over 6 years.
Callaway XHot Pros: Gamechanger for me. Have been in the bag since late May of last year.

My iron sets since starting in 1974.

Spaulding Championships (starter set 1-3-5 wood, 3-5-7-9-pw - putter)
Browning 440 Plus
King Snake (King Cobra clone)
Titleist 990 DCI
Callaway X-20 Tour
Taylormade Burner 2.0 (current)

These are only the sets that I played for several years and hundreds of rounds, from past to present:

Mixed set (no two irons were the same brand/model)
Wilson Staff Dynapower Turfrider Sole/Fluid Feel
Ping Eye 2 clones
TaylorMade RAC CGB

Taylormade 320
Mizuno Comp-EZ
Srixon I-501
Srixon I-701 tour
Bridgestone J36 Pocket Cavity
Epon Type S
Adams CB3

and i am sure there is a set or two i forgot about.

Having seen your front hall closet, I am sure that it is more than a set or two that you forgot.

1) Powerbuilt junkers with graphite shafts
2) Cleveland CG7 Black Pearl
3) Taylormade R11
4) Bridgestone J40 DPC
5) Titleist AP1

Ping Eye2 Orange Dot
Callaway X-20's.

Stuck on the 20's at the moment, I seem to be hitting them fine and just went through a 100% swing rebuild (ongoing), no sense in changing at the moment.

Dunlop blades (father gave them to me in my teens, I donated them earlier this year and they were completely rusted)
Walter Hagen XLR irons
Callaway X-20s
Taylormade 360 XDs (actually never hit these, bought the wrong flex)
Wilson Staff Di11s

80's
Macgregor - Tommy Armours
Pinseeker (lets see who remembers these irons!)

90's (not sure if this is the correct order)
Taylor Made - burner oversize
Ping Zing
Tommy Armour 845s
Callaway X-12s

2000s
Ping G-15s
Callaway Apex

I remember those
