New Issue Of Golf Digest...No Attempt At Subtlety.

I'm missing something somewhere because I'm not seeing what the big deal is? It's another periodical trying to sell some magazines
 
I have a subscription because if you spend over $100 on Global golf you get a free subscription. What I have an issue with, is that there really isn't much golf content in a golf magazine.

I honestly think they would be better served going to a 6 or 8 issue/year model and doing some good features. They could still have the swimsuit issue (which I am all for) a special for each major, a preseason & postseason special as well as one for the Ryder/Walker/Solheim/Presidents cups.

And not sure how much advise I need people getting about the must haves before you try to get laid at the course.... last thing I need is to catch people engaging in coitus on the course.
 
You know, courtesy of various purchases, I get both Golf Digest and Golf Magazine...and I still think the more thoughtful content is in Golf Digest.

Golf Magazine reads like Matt Kuchar's Skecher's commercials...Halve you handicap by swinging more like Billy Horschel.

That being said, What's wrong with "sex on the golf course" as part of the happiness issue? I mean, I don't know about you, but sex makes me happy. Golf courses make me happy. This is the "peanut butter, banana, and nutella" conversation. If peanut better and nutella make you happy, and nutella and banana make you happy, and peanut butter and banana make you happy, you need a darn good reason why peanut better, nutella, and banana shouldn't make you happy.
 
I hooked up with a chick back in college on a golf course, probably the only hole in one I will ever get on a course :(
 
I have the presubscription card sitting on my bill pile. Not sending it in this year.
 
Why can't they just stick to glorifying violence instead of this stuff? #theamericanway
 
This would explain the looks I get when I play as a single and walk into the clubhouse after my round all sweaty with my shirt un-tucked yet with a smile on my face.
 
And this poses the question.....Is Golf Digest good or bad for the game of golf?

Nah, 60 seconds in the woods to "find my ball" shouldn't be an issue.

I'm all in favour of these type of stories, in any publication!!! That said, my wife bought me a 12 month subscription of these a year and a half ago, and I've never read one! Weirdly, they are still coming through my door and my wife swears blind she isn't paying for them, and I know I'm not.
