Basically what the title says. Bethpage has hosted the Barclays in the past and will do again in 2016. So really, how big of an event is this?

Pretty big to those in the FedEx cup playoffs. Esp those guys who are near the bottom of the points list. Oh and a winners share of just under 1.5 million dollars is nice too.

It's one of my favorite tournaments of the year. I like the rota of courses they use and watching the playoff field settle and filter always seems to produce good golf being played.

pretty serious for guys wanting the FEDEX CUP.
I really enjoy the Barclays,huge gainer for thouse needed Fed Ex points.

Seems like everyone is in agreement that this is a big event. Bethpage will be hosting it in 2016 and I'm going to try to attend the weekend portion.
