Bought my new Cobra Fly-Z combo set online on Friday and they arrived today. And because I'm going all in on the CobraPumaGolf flow, I had them send me a "Rickie Fowler starter set" hat too! LOL!

Too bad I may have to wait until at least Saturday before I can take them out.

Had a SuperStroke Counter Core 2.0 grip installed on my 2nd hand Scotty GoLo 5S today. While at Golf Galaxy, I also picked up some pink Epoch tees (dad always played pink tees, I can too). Wandering through the glove aisle, I saw the UA gloves. I gave one a try - a Strikeskin Tour - and was really impressed. For the real leather glove guys, give this a look. I'll try to remember to report back on the durability as I wear it.

I haven't gotten it to the course yet, but spent 20ish minutes rolling on my BirdieBall green and like it so far. It seems easier to get puts rolling with it - the weight really transfers. I will be interested to see how I do on short putts on fast greens, as the extra weight makes me really concentrate on making short strokes.

Just got home from a week long trip, and came home to these. I showed my dad the putter and he said, "If Ferrari made a putter, this is what it would look like." Loving it so far. Also got 6 dozen Tour Preferred X's from LostGolfBalls.com, so I'm stocked up for the season.

I have a Great Big Bertha 13.5* set at 12.5* and feel that the launch is still a bit high. I had been is serious ponder about getting a 10.5* and setting it on 11.5* to see if that helps a little. Ponder is over, I will have a 10.5* in hand on Tuesday.

Tournament my club has twice a year. Two team format with a dinner Thursday night cooked and served by the losers from the last tournament. Friday & Saturday is alternate shot in the morning then best ball that afternoon then singles matches Sunday. They've been doing it for 9-10 years or so and I missed the last one.

It is pretty neat. I'll be out of town but there is a par 3 contest the same time as the one at Augusta.

The matches are only like $10-20 each ($50-100 for everything) so your wallet is really limited on how hurt you can get.
