Mizuno Releasing JPX 921 Irons: Full Preview

@Molten - did they get rid of the back of the 919 HMP con where you could see, for lack of a better description, the back of the cavity/flange at address in the 4 and 5i. They made the 921 4 and 5i larger - was wondering how it looks at address.
 
Thanks Molten for the review! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the HMPs. I may end up splitting the set as my approach game could use all the help it needs.

Or maybe I can just buy both :)

I’ve only got the forged in the house but you can just start to see it at address in the 5i of the 921F, so it’s likely to be seen in the HMP.

If I was lucky enough to get my hands on those HMPs, I’d be in here sharing without question but they remain elusive! I’ve got a fitting booked once the heads go out to the certified fitters but until then, I’m just really excited to see them too!

I don't see it in my 919F 5i but it would depend on your forward lean - my hands are just slightly in front of head

True - completely different based on vantage point. My head hangs a bit behind the ball at address so I see it but I just set the 4i down flat and moved my head a bit more forward from my normal and it was gone. (See below - 4i head flat on my desk)

Thx - Realistically looking at my game, I want to use the clubs that give me the best opportunity to score and play from 6600 yrd - probably the HMP. See how it goes and get some 921F in 7-PW later, depending on my competency level.

Notice there is no shaft in it. I carry a 4 iron but it’s super game improvement! A players 4 iron makes my heart rate go up :ROFLMAO:

It’s beyond my pay grade.
 
Anyone remotely concerned with the 4 iron in the HMP at 19 degrees. I know they understand making clubs more than I ever will, but that is almost a driving iron loft.
 
So these are out 1 month from today. Have to imagine they are in fitting carts soon.

Had just been fitted for the 919’s when they released the 921... fortune favours the brave (I hope 😎)
