CONTEST 2020 Thanksgiving Feast Giveaway

We decided to stay home and forego the normal Thanksgiving with our families. So our feast was small, with just a boneless turkey breast done in the air fryer(came out so damn good).

Due to Covid restrictions my wife and I had a two-person Thanksgiving just for us. All of it was so good! We had a Zoom call with family earlier today and that was very special given the circumstances. :) ⛳

It was in the 40s this morning so we had a Thanksgiving morning fire

Round 1: since the wifecdoesnt like turkey (she just wanted generic ham), I figured I'd make something I really want

Due to me working this morning, we didn’t eat until 3:30, and with the kids not liking turkey, we went the steak route.

We are in the pause prior to dessert. ;)

We had dinner delivered by my mom this year. My sister is a teacher and with all the positive covid cases she didn’t want to expose us. So my mom being the great cook she is made a big dinner and gave us curbside delivery service. It was very tasty!

Here it is; The Vegetarian Thanksgiving....What you see is Homemade Cornbread Stuffing, ( yes i baked the cornbread), Mashed Potatoes, Green beans with garlic, and lemon sauce. Both the Potatoes, Green Beans and garlic are for my garden. Vegetarian "Turkey" roll and of course, the best kind of Cranberry sauce, "shlurped" from the can....the grooves are where you cut ya knowC26B33BB-F0BB-4E87-A327-AB42B3189462.jpeg

Had to cancel Thanksgiving at my mom's due to covid. My wife's grandma threw a quick dinner together last minute and I got up early and smoked a turkey. Weird year, but it worked out.
Edit: Forgot to add a picture of the cinnamon roll apple pie. It no longer exists.

Because of covid it was dinner for two with food for 10 at the Dundee house.

Sorry for the poor presentation but it’s fried turkey, pioneer woman mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and butternut squash casserole. Cranberry came from a Trader Joe’s jar. The two pies are not pictured.

Thank you for properly carving your turkey. As a former chef and culinary graduate, a poorly butchered bird is one of my pet peeves.

Everyone else likes fresh cranberry stuff, except me. I love it out of the can, although this year my wife found some in a can with actual crans floating in it. It was a good compromise.
