This years rule for the kids is 37 and above, sooooo 37.
Guess that means they get the week off
That's a big problem we have up here in CO, you can't get a tee in the ground with a hammer. I need to buy some of those that sit up on top of the turf for cold weather so I don't break all my tees and my palms.I live in Canada and even I can't wrap my head around minus 40.
To the OP, we played two holes a couple of years ago in Alabama at 30F. I would not normally try that, but we were on the last day of a 5 day trip and since the course wasn't closed it was give it a go or lose the cost. We broke several tees on the first hole, bounced balls off of the bunkers and the green. The second hole wasn't much different so we called it quits.
I remember somebody in one of the cold weather threads saying they brought a cordless drill out with them to get their tees in the ground. I mean, I get it, but if I have to use a drill to get my tee in the ground it's too freaking cold for golf! That's a big problem we have up here in CO, you can't get a tee in the ground with a hammer.
