When on the fence about a putter, what better way than to crowd source the answer!
Got fit into the SS28 or the Queen B 6 today. Intrigued by the RC face and like the finish a bit more of the SS, especially if I paint fill the red to blue, but probably like the feel of the Queen B a bit more. Which way would you go and why?
That is a very accurate description of the feel comparing the two. Being new to the brand, what line offers the fly-milling? Or is a year by year thing? It's gonna come down to feel IMO. The micro honeycomb face is the firmest milling I've tried on a non-insert Betti, and for me was just too hot. Haven't tried an RC face putter yet, but rolled a bunch of FIT face putters over the years and I would rank them as some of the softest feeling milled putters I've tried. Their fly milling is somewhere in the middle for me.
Blind buy I'd go SS28 based on my experience with the micro honeycomb face in the past. I'm also not a huge fan of the rose gold finish, but that's 100% just my opinion.
If you were fit into a wide blade, check out the aftermarket. There's usually a bunch of putters that match those general specs available on Ebay, etc. Tons of QB6 and similar shapes from Bettinardi. You might find a color/face variant that you like better than this year's offerings.

Great call on looking into secondary market. Not looking for a collectible, just one I can game and enjoy, although eBay gives me a touch of pause.
Picked up my first Betti today. Completely stoked about it as I’ve never had a putter that felt so premium.
I do have a question though. Maybe a dumb one.
I purchased at Golf Galaxy and was provided the headcover in the photo which is a blade shape headcover. This is a VERY snug fit. With this shape being mallet(ish) was I given the wrong cover or will it stretch out over time? I played 9 holes earlier after purchasing and gotta say it was annoying with how tough it was to get on and off.View attachment 9000159

Some things from the St Patty's Day Hive event I picked up on the 17th of March and The Pinehurst Bettinardi trip.
Was wondering anyone know anything about this Bettinardi. Was thinking about bring it to refinish.

Nice! I think probably just different finish so the paint fill is different color.Have that exact same putter, but in Tiffany Blue. Don't know if mine had been refinished before I picked it up.
Good Lawd!New to the collection.
