I am considering a longer, counterbalanced putter build. The head I have is an Odyssey OG 7 Bird. It is a great head that I like a lot. It will require a double bend shaft. It looks like KBS CT shaft may be the best option that I have found so far. Any others I should consider? Any thoughts on the CT for a longer build?

If you don’t have/want to replace the shaft, you can always just add an extension. Not much to it.

I second this, much easier and less expensive if you just want to tinker.

This is typically how I lengthen all of my putters vs reshafting them.

I currently have the strokelab shaft. Was considering trying something different especially as I move to a longer length.

Yeah, that’s a different animal.

You can pull the weight out of the stroke lab and add an extension to the shaft. A Gravity Grip will get you back to a counter balanced feel at almost the same weight of the stroke lab grip and weight. If you want to reshaft with another stability shaft the Tour Model from BGT is probably the easiest way to go.
