Well, here we are.

Another strong week, with 19,027 posts, has put us within 11,600 posts of our goal. We need to average 1,656 posts per day this week to make our goal. That compares to a daily YTD average of 2,392 posts.

Here is the YTD posts vs the pace we need to maintain at the beginning of the year. We're almost 5,000 posts ahead of the needed pace., Compare that to May 19, when we were over 9,000 posts BEHIND.

Finally, a ruling. Given our status above, this point is academic, and definitely minor, but I want to be sure we are all aware.

Since we started keeping track of posts and publishing stats, our Official Time has been THP World HQ time. Well, THP is moving form TN (Central Time) to FL (Eastern time), potentially around June 30-July 1. Today, it looks like we will pass 8,000,000 well before June 30.

But in any event, we will use Central Time for the duration of the march to 8,000,000.

Thanks to @JB for being comfortable with whatever decision was made.
 
The goal is in sight! Thanks for putting this all together. Has been fun tracking it with you down the stretch.
 
I almost forgot. Yesterday, we logged 19,027 posts and bent the blue line by an astonishing 213posts.
 
We are rocking it! As always thanks for the updates @Reframmellator ! Those analogies and life lessons when we were behind really motivated us!

Might as well get this done by 6/28 or 6/29 just to make sure.
