I’ve been lurking here for a few months and finally got around to registering.

So tell me, if you would, how long you have lived on Kauai?
I always hear stories about people retiring to Hawaii (And why wouldn't you) and then not liking it because they feel like they are "Stuck on island"
I'd to give it a 6 month trial I tell you that and take the risk of being miserable.

I moved here from the Chicago suburbs over 30 years ago. (Noticed your location)
Rock fever is definitely a thing. I have known many people who have left after only a few years.
