Welcome to THP! I will be honeymooning in Kuaui later this year! Any recommendations? Can’t miss courses? Fly with clubs or rent? Best places to eat?! We need it all haha

unless your wife golfs, reco you leave clubs at home if you want to make the 20th anniv. Lots to hike/do without clubs :)

Got to be careful with golf recommendations for a honeymooner ;)
My forum name refers to the very nice municipal course on the East side of the island. Wailua GC. It is a County owned facility and a great value. First 2 holes run along the ocean front. #17 par 3 has an elevated tee hitting down to a green that sits right off of a sand beach. Best course for walking here.

There are also a half dozen resort style courses that all pretty much require riding due to their layouts

The Princeville course is now called "Makai" which is Hawaiian for toward the Sea.
Kauai Lagoons is now called Hokuala.

If looking at resort courses consider where you are staying.

Makai is on the North side.
Hokuala is central. Actually wraps around the airport.
South Shore has Poipu Bay which used to host A Grand Slam event for many years with the winners of the 4 majors from the previous year.

Those 3 are probably the cream of the crop. All pretty pricey.
The muni at Wailua is no slouch though and a great value.
